Online technologies
Cookie policy
Effective: 18 October 2026
This policy explains how ReenCar uses cookies and similar technologies, including local or session storage, pixels and online identifiers, on reencar.com.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can store information in local or session storage, read device or browser information, or send an event to a measurement service. Some are necessary for a requested service; others require your prior consent.
2. Categories
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, basic navigation and storage of your privacy choice | Always active where technically required |
| Analytics | Audience measurement, page performance and interaction statistics | Off until consent |
| Advertising and attribution | Campaign attribution and conversion measurement | Off until consent |
| External media | Loading third-party video or embedded content | Off until consent or a direct request to load it |
3. Technologies used
| Service or identifier | Provider / storage | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| reencar_consent_v1 | ReenCar / first-party browser storage | Store the versioned record of accepted and refused categories | Up to 6 months |
| Google tag and Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_<container>) | Load the Google tag and measure website use only after analytics consent | Up to 2 years, subject to configuration and withdrawal | |
| rcb_attr_token_v1 | ReenCar / sessionStorage and n8n automation | Create and process a temporary attribution identifier only after advertising and attribution consent | Browser session |
| rcb_attr_data_v3 | ReenCar / sessionStorage and n8n automation | Store and process UTM tags, click IDs, referrer and landing URL only after advertising and attribution consent | Browser session |
| YouTube privacy-enhanced embed | Google / YouTube via youtube-nocookie.com | Load and play a selected video only after external-media consent or a direct request to play it | According to YouTube settings after activation |
Provider identifiers may change as their services evolve. The consent interface controls categories rather than requiring you to manage each identifier separately.
4. Your choice
All optional analytics, advertising and external-media categories are off by default. Their tags, attribution automation and external content are not loaded before the corresponding consent. Refusing them does not block access to the public website or contact forms.
You may accept or refuse categories separately and change or withdraw your choice at any time by opening Cookie settings in the footer. The versioned choice is stored for up to six months; a renewed choice may be requested earlier if the technologies or purposes materially change.
5. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser. Browser-level blocking may remove a saved privacy choice and may affect features that are technically necessary.
6. Third-party information
Further information about the main third-party technologies is available from their providers.
7. Contact and changes
Questions about these technologies can be sent to mail@reencar.com. We may update this policy when services or retention settings change; the effective date identifies the current version.
